Helping you move forward in life with positivity and meaning
“ …for me the vanishing of youthful, sometimes tyrannical, passions has made me appreciate the starry skies more and all wonder of being alive, wonders that I had previously overlooked….I’ve never felt better or more at peace with myself”.
Irvin D. Yalom, Creatures of a Day

You may be feeling loss of your past life or self and are finding it hard to live in the present and to move forward in your life with positivity and meaning.
It could be that you have retired and are struggling to transform yourself into a ‘new version’ of yourself, as your job had defined you for so many years. This can be a difficult transition and should never be underestimated.
At this time of life there can also be some very real physical challenges which can manifest emotionally and mentally, such as chronic illness, caring for a sick partner or caring for grandchildren. In addition to this, part of the equation could come about from relationship changes or bereavement.
There may be things in your past that you hang on to, which still influence your life today and serve as barriers to a more joyous life and sense of being.
It may be that you simply don’t have someone you can speak to with honesty for fear of being judged or misunderstood.
By talking through these difficult emotions and feelings therapy can enable you to step back and view with a different perspective. Providing a clarity which brings peace.
We can work together to figure out how the past may be affecting you now and discover a future with new possibilities.
A space to begin your therapeutic journey and thrive in personal development.
